Thanks to a GrowthAccelerator, new business initiative recently unveiled by Vince Cable, £200 million in funding will soon be made available for the brightest businesses in the UK – and industry experts say that contractors that work with umbrella companies are in an excellent position to benefit from the new, positive attention.
The new GrowthAcclerator programme, as outlined by the business secretary, is designed specificially to aid firms in the achievement of ambitious goals and the fulfilment of their potential. There oculd be up to 55,000 new permanent roles created though the new initiative’s efforts, with an unknown number of temporary and interim positions to be created for contractors and freelancers in addition.
Both domestic and international growth is likely to be facilitated by the new GrowthAccelerator project, Mr Cable said, as the programme will enable the burgeoning small and medium sized business market in the UK to grow, giving untold firms the chance to gain new market share and, according to the business secretary, allow them to ‘become the household names of tomorrow.’
Thanks to the targeted support being provided by the new scheme, the government is providing entrepreneurs with excellent opportunities to move forward with their businesses both at home and across the globe, Mr Cable added, remarking that he was looking forward to watching GrowthAccelerator aid these businesses achieve their goals in the coming months and years.
The government has also announced recently that it has plans to spent an additional £2.9 million to construct a business research centre in order to discover ways to facilitate economic growth for the nation’s firms.
