A new report by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development that states high jobless rates are likely to continue across the eurozone doesn't seem like good news to many - but umbrella company experts say that this could spell good news for contractors and freelancers looking to pick up extra work.

The OECD has reported that the UK economy grew by a mere 0.7% in the last year, making it the second worst performing economy in the G7 nations. Only Japan’s economy performed worse than ours and it had the earthquake and tsunami to contend with.
