Friends, does anyone have experience shipping goods from a port to various warehouses across the U.S.? We’ve started selling more online, and now containers are arriving at the port, but our customers are located in different states. Is there a way to quickly distribute the goods without having to store them for a long time in a single warehouse?

In this situation, transshipment near the port is often used. The container is unloaded at a specialized warehouse, the goods are sorted, and separate shipments are immediately prepared for different destinations. This allows for faster delivery of orders and reduces costs associated with unnecessary transportation. You can see how this works using the example of the , where containers are processed and redistributed between trucks or rail.
